Electric retrofit of construction equipment
Convert your diesel machines into electric machines
Keep the machine.
Change its energy.
Retrofitting gives existing machines a new lease of life by replacing their diesel engine with an electric architecture.
A solution to cut emissions, extend the service life of equipment and preserve its value in use.

A complete conversion process, tailored to the customer's needs
A made-to-measure retrofit
ELHYTE designs and integrates the entire electric drivetrain, from the motor to the energy management system, according to the needs and constraints of each project.
Project pre-study
An analysis tailored to each machine
Every electric retrofit project begins with an analysis of the machine and the customer’s specifications in order to identify the needs and technical constraints of its conversion.
Design
A bespoke electric architecture
ELHYTE develops an electric architecture suited to the characteristics of each machine, taking into account its requirements and the constraints of its use on site.
Integration
From design to installation
This stage includes modelling the machine’s environment, designing and manufacturing the components of the electrification kit, then installing them on the machine.
Commissioning
A machine ready for the site
Once the electrification kit has been installed, tests and validations are carried out. ELHYTE then supports the customer during the commissioning of their retrofitted machine.

Retrofitted machines at the cutting edge of technology
A made-to-measure retrofit
The swappable batteries developed by ELHYTE are compatible with both retrofitted machines and new ELHYTE machines.
Simplified charging
The batteries are charged independently of the machine, then swapped in when they are needed.
Continuous runtime
Fast pack replacement keeps the machine working without taking it out of service to recharge.
One battery pack,
several machines,
a long-term
investment.
Keep the machine, change its energy
Thanks to their long service life, the battery packs can be kept when the retrofitted machine reaches the end of its life, then reused on a new ELHYTE machine.
This approach accelerates fleet electrification at a lower cost, while extending the use of the battery investment across several generations of machines.
